Send bids from Outlook in two clicks

Open a sub’s bid email, click Send to MyLevelBid, pick the bid package, and the attachments land there as a bid. No downloading, no re-uploading.

Add it for yourself

  1. In Outlook, open Get Add-ins (on the ribbon, or under Apps in Outlook on the web).
  2. Choose My add-ins, then Add a custom add-in → Add from URL.
  3. Paste this address and confirm:https://www.mylevelbid.com/outlook-addin/manifest.xml
  4. Open any email with a bid attached and click Send to MyLevelBid. Sign in with your MyLevelBid account the first time.

Some companies turn off custom add-ins. If yours does, ask IT to add it for everyone, below.

Add it for your whole company (IT admins)

  1. In the Microsoft 365 admin center, go to Settings → Integrated apps.
  2. Choose Upload custom apps, then Provide link to manifest file, and use the address above.
  3. Pick who gets it (your estimators, or everyone) and deploy. It can take a few hours to appear in Outlook.

What it can see

Only the email you have open, and only when you click the button. It reads that email’s sender, subject and attachments so it can suggest the bidder’s name and list the files; it sends nothing until you press Send, and then only the files you ticked. It cannot read your other mail and never sends email.

Not on Outlook, or can’t install add-ins?

Every bid package has its own forwarding address on its page in MyLevelBid. Forward a sub’s bid email to it from your own address and the attachments are added the same way, from any email app.
